Clean Drinking Water

"Jal hi Jeevan hai" (Water is life) is one of the sacred sayings in India. However, many of our brothers and sisters don't have access to clean water and as a result they suffer greatly.

In many places people do not have any sustainable source of water. They depend on natural sources of water like wells, lakes ponds etc. which generally dry during summer.

Through the local social workers we identify communities that are desperate and deserve our help. We seek to work closely with local leaders in finding the best location and dig deep core wells and set up hand pumps or motor pumps based on the need and local situation.

Through this initiative we have been able to help hundreds of needy villages to get access to clean drinking water, thus restoring well being of thousands of families.

We educate people about water conservation, good hygiene and cleanliness practices to store up water, rain water harvesting as well as better farming practices to manage water in a more sustainable way.
