Serving the Poor

Our nation of India has made significant progress economically and socially over the past several years, yet poverty is a bitter reality in many communities especially in North India. It is still a major challenge for the Government and our society.

While the Government is doing the best they can, we the citizens also have the responsibility to join hands and hearts with the authorities to bring about the change that our nation deserves.

Poverty is the root cause of many of the issues in our society; it results in poor health, lack of education, poor housing, water & sanitation etc. Jesus gave us the Great Commandment, "Love your neighbour as you love yourself."

Jesus whole life was devoted to healing the sick, feeding the hungry and caring for the neglected and marginalised. We seek to follow His example and we fully believe in the social responsibility of the Church as part of the mandate of the commandments given to us by Jesus.
