Enabling Women

For us empowerment of women means enabling women to see themselves as God's creation, bringing better self-esteem, worth, dignity, value as well as skills and education through which the whole family, community and our nation benefits.

When women are educated and financially contributing members of the society they are less likely to be abused and suffer shame. Education, work opportunities and good self-esteem can make a profound difference in the way they see themselves and how others perceive them too.

Through our 'Sister you are Special' initiative, personality development, literacy, spoken English, health and hygiene and other training programs we are seeing incredible transformation among poor and underprivileged women.

Through our skill development programs such as tailoring, embroidery, jewellery making and other practical skills and helping women to set up their own small business they are being set free from the miseries of poverty.

We also regularly conduct seminars, conferences and workshops in rural and tribal areas to bring awareness about health, hygiene, dangers of drugs, alcohol, smoking as well as about child bearing and how to raise children and the need to get their children educated etc.

Through all these and much more initiatives we are seeing significant changes in the lives of thousands of women.
