Most part of North India shivers under cold wave for about half a year. Only the economically sound can cuddle themselves under the warmth of their woollen blanket and enjoy the winter.

For the poor on the street and in the slums winter is a nightmare. They cover themselves under dry leaves and jute sacks some even among stay dogs seek for warmth to survive biting winter.

In winter sadly thousands of people suffer and many die. Homeless, people in the slums and others can't bear the harsh winter conditions. We provide blankets and warm clothes to such people. We also try to provide soup and some hot meals to help ease their suffering.
